The Australian Footbag Association

So its been waaaaay too long since we updated but here's a quick one for you. The Australian National Footbag Championships for 2009 will be hosted by the Sydney crew and is across the weekend of the 17th-19th April. The major competition day will be on the Saturday, hosted by the Royal Easter Show. We'll be on a stage with a capacity of around 500 people, and the show itself attracts thousands of visitors every day so its a great opportunity for players to show what they're made of, and for footbag to get some great exposure.

More info will be made available soon, but if you are looking to attend and need accommodation we have an arrangement of discounted beds at YHA Railway Square. There are about 4 beds remaining so Contact Us quick or head to the Australian Footbag.org forum to grab a spot.

In other news, Dyalan Govender, Dan Ednie and Jeremy O'Wheel recently appeared in a Subway commercial for the 'Kickin' Chicken' promotion. It was a short run commercial but was on major networks frequently and the boys put in a great effort on that TV spot, well done. See it here.
